TOPEKA, Kan. — Each year, legendary Kansas cowboys and cowgirls are honored for their contributions to the western heritage lifestyle as they are inducted into the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame in Dodge City. This year will represent the 20th induction ceremony and nominations currently are being accepted for 2022 honorees.

Inductees are selected for their significant contributions to the preservation of the cowboy culture in Kansas and their personification of the cowboy ideals of integrity, honesty and self- sufficiency. Nominations can be made in the categories of working cowboy, rancher/cattleman, cowboy artist/entertainer, rodeo cowboy and cowboy historian. Any organization or individual may nominate a qualified person, living or deceased, for consideration.
