Superintendent Alex Lohrmeyer with Game and Parks Commission says reservable sites have been taken for a long time, first-come first-served sites were down to just a handful, and even the primitive sites were starting to fill up.
He reminds anyone heading to the lake that fireworks are not allowed, and a nightly ‘quiet time’ of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. will be enforced so everyone can enjoy their Fourth of July
