Betty Anne Frisch, 87 of Broadwater, Nebraska passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard, Nebraska.
Her memorial graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Broadwater, Nebraska. At her request, cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Panhandle Humane Society. Online condolences may be left at www.geringchapel.com. Gering Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Betty Anne was born on May 8, 1934 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Charles Lester Carlson, Sr and Viola (Brines) Carlson. She went to the country school between Lisco and Broadwater and graduated from Broadwater High School in 1952. She married Gail Frisch and made their home in Randolph, Wisconsin. To this union three children were born: David, Lisa and Gina.
She moved to Broadwater in the early 1980’s. In the last couple of years she has lived in the Bridgeport and Bayard Nursing homes.
Betty Anne loved to garden and read. She enjoyed frog and owls. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Broadwater (which is presently the Messiah Lutheran Church).
She was preceded in death by her husband Gail (1986); parents, daughter Gina, granddaughter Christina; brother Les Carlson, Jr and sister Anna Belle Franicone.
Betty Anne is survived by her son David Frisch; daughter Lisa Cochrane; several grandchildren; one great grandson and one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
