Alexandra (Sandra) Urdiales, 72, of Ft. Collins, CO, was called home by her heavenly Father after battling Lupus for many years and the last 4 years a hard fight against cancer. Surrounded by her loving family, she finally said enough is enough, I’m tired. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Mike McDonald as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell, NE. Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Jones Mortuary in Mitchell and a rosary will be recited beginning at 6 PM at the Church. Sandra was born November 10, 1948 in Scottsbluff to Saragosa and Juanita (Rivera) Martinez. She had 4 brothers and 1 sister. She married George Urdiales in 1969 and they were blessed with son Ken and later 2 granddaughters whom she loved dearly.
Sandra loved everyone and loved helping anyone who needed help. She was an avid bowler and dearly loved her pets she called her “babies”.
Sandra is survived by her husband George; son Ken (Tina); granddaughters Kendra and Siana; brother Ramon (Karin); sister Victoria (Vidal); nephews Jr., Louis, Aaron, Vincent and Matthew; nieces Lori, her all giving angel always there to lend a helping hand, Andrea, Rachel, Debra, Roxane, Marlene, Elizabeth and Vanessa; and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Alfonso, Louis and Fermin; nephew Levi; grandparents and extended family.
