Trial Date Set for Terrytown Woman Facing Meth Charge

A Terrytown woman is set to stand trial next week after getting caught with dealer amount of meth.

In November, police stopped 56-year-old Tina Sanchez for failure to use a turn signal and , K-9 Duke was called in and alerted the officer to drugs in the vehicle. Police found 10.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a glass pipe with white residue, and a digital scale.

She is facing felony charges of Possession of Meth 10-27 grams and no Drug Tax Stamp, and a May 1st trial date has been set in District Court in front of Judge Andrea Miller.
