The Nebraska Theater Academy, a leading education program fostering career pathways in the arts and life skills for middle and high school students, is embarking on a statewide workshop tour, with their panhandle stops taking place today.
This comprehensive program, in partnership with the Broadway League’s national Jimmy Awards, offers participating schools’ exclusive access to master classes with Broadway artists, professional feedback on productions, and the chance to represent Nebraska at the prestigious Jimmy Awards.
For panhandle students, workshops will be conducted today at Chadron High School from 8:30-10 a.m., Scottsbluff High School from 12:30-2 p.m. and Ogallala High School from 4:30-6p.m.
Recognized as one of the largest programs of its kind in the U.S., it supports professional development for educators and advocating for arts education in schools.
