A teenager who was facing 13 felonies and two misdemeanors for a 2021 shooting in Scottsbluff was back in court this week.
18- year-old Landon Horton of rural Scottsbluff was arrested in connection to an August 2021 incident involving two other suspects that left one person wounded when shots were fired at a group of people outside a West Overland residence.
Last summer, Horton pleaded no contest to charges of: Attempted Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony; First Degree Assault; and Terroristic threats.
He was back in court this week following a 90 day evaluation, and he’ll be back in court again on March 1st for sentencing.
