The City of Scottsbluff is excited for the new rollout of their online Permitting Portal online at Scottsbluff.org
Development Services Director Zach Glaubius says this allows the public and contractors to have an alternative to coming into City Hall to get their permits.
“So the various permits are on there. We have the rezone subdivision building permits, the big road permits as well,” says Glaubuius. “As of 2:00 p.m. today (November 6th), we’ve had 224 permits on here. And it’s a good way of tracking the various permits as well. (City Clerk Wright) Kim’s permits are on here too for city.”
In order to access the permits online, you do need to create an account, but once you’re in, you’ll have access to all of the city’s permit applications.
Glaubius adds that the city is working on creating a way to enable online payments, and that should be accomplished sometime during this current fiscal year.
