The Scottsbluff City Council meets tonight, and will consider a purchase that will be a fixture for the 18th Street Plaza during the holiday season for years to come.
Earlier this year, the city’s Parks and Rec Department sought bids for a 20 foot metal tower tree with lights and topper. Two bids were received, with the low bid coming in at $12,600 from a Texas company.
The city is considering using Keno funds to finance the purchase, and will discuss the matter in full during their 6 p.m. meeting at City Hall.
