There was plenty of baseball for teams from right here in town over the weekend with the Pioneers home for two while both senior legion teams were on the road at tournaments.
Pioneers split games
- Friday: Pioneers 13, Hays Larks 1
- Saturday: Hays Larks 5, Pioneers 3
Pioneers were off on Sunday and they’ve got another off day today before a single road game Tuesday at Greeley. After an off day on Wednesday they’ll be home Thursday through Sunday for games at Oregon Trail Park Stadium.
Zephyrs compete at Rapid City Tournament

The Z’s head to Alliance on Tuesday night and we’ll have coverage on 107.3 The Trail starting at approximately 7:15 pm.
The Express JR’s split games with Post 22 on Saturday and Sunday and their record now for the season sits at 8-4-1.
Gering splits at Chadron Tournament

Platte Valley Companies will host Sidney on Tuesday in the back end of a JR/SR doubleheader and they’ll travel to play at Chadron on Wednesday and we’ll have that one on KMOR 93.3 FM. Gering B&C Steel will open up against Chadron that night in the juniors game at 5 pm.
