Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a Garden County Sheriff’s Deputy following an investigation into a report of sexual assault.
NSP began investigating the case in July at the request of the Attorney General’s Office. Following an investigation, NSP investigators arrested 39-year-old Bruce Neal for one count of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of child abuse.
Neal was arrested today at his home and has been lodged at the Cheyenne County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
