No Public Input Provided During City of Scottsbluff Budget Meeting
September 3rd, 2024 | Ryan Murphy

The Scottsbluff City Council met during the noon hour today in a special meeting to discuss the upcoming budget.

The public was invited to attend to voice support, criticism, suggestions or observations relating to the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Budget.

Unfortuanately, only one member of the public attended this meeting, and opted not to speak during the public hearing.

Mayor Jeanne McKerrigan outlines some of the big changes in the upcoming budget, which will include a city wide chip-seal project, upgrades to City Hall, and repairs to the library’s HVAC system.

The council will vote on finalizing the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Budget before September 30th.
