Nebraska’s Lt. Governor has cleared his public schedule for the time being, following a positive test for coronavirus.

According to the Governor’s Office, Mike Foley has mild symptoms of the illness, and is now self-isolating as he recovers.

Foley had been scheduled this week to make remarks at State Teammates Recognition Ceremonies in Beatrice, Kearney, Scottsbluff and Norfolk.

The service recognition events will continue as planned, with Jason Jackson, the State’s Chief Human Resources Officer, leading the ceremonies.
