The 2021 Expedition League All-Star Game is set for tonight in Casper at Mike Lansing Stadium with first pitch slated for 7:05.
All-Star festivities started last night and that included the Home Run Derby with the winner being JT Waldon of the Western Nebraska Pioneers. He won the final in the swing-off against Jordan Williams of Souris Valley.
The Pioneers will be well represented tonight. Waldon, Eric Smelko, Tyler Davis, Carson Ohl, Cade McGee, and Caden Edwards were the original six that were selected to play plus they’ve had two additions with Paul Panduro and Jarred Mazzaferro now added to the roster as well. Plus the Pioneers coaching staff led by head coach Antonio Garcia will be leading the Clark Division squad in the dugout.
The voice of the Pioneers, Zach McKinstry, will have the broadcast tonight on the Casper Horseheads livestream feed on their YouTube channel starting with pregame at 6:55 and then first pitch at 7:05.
The Pioneers will come out of the all-star break on Thursday to start a road series at the Fremont Moo.
