A very special event takes place at the Midwest Theater this weekend highlighting first responders and the toll their jobs take on their mental health.

PTSD911 will show at 6:30 Sunday evening, preceded by a Q & A session at 5:30 p.m. with Director Conrad Weaver, who is making a coast to coast bike tour with the film.

The documentary is about those of us who have chosen to work in professions that require above average heroism, resolve, and a willingness to face things that most of us can’t even imagine, and how their professions can cause compound issues related to post-traumatic stress injuries and disorders.

Doors open Sunday at 5:00 p.m., tickets are available in advance and online only at ptsd911movie.com.

A portion of $10 ticket fee goes toward helping first responders suffering from PTSD.
