On Thursday Bridgeport hosted their Boys Golf Invite and it saw Mitchell’s Cael Peters rip off a 68 to win by nine shots while Hemingford won the team title.
Peters cruised to the win with the under par round while Dax Powell of Hemingford finished second with a round of 77. Powell was one of three Bobcats that finished in the top four.
Jacob Bryner finished third (81) while Owen Plog came in fourth place (83) as Hemingford posted a combined team score of 339 for the win. Bridgeport was second with a score of 362 as Harrison Barnette topped the Bulldogs with a top ten finish (86).
Kimball finished third in the team chase led by Kyler Lusche’s fifth place finish.
