September 29th, 2022 | KNEB Staff

A 64-year-old Scottsbluff man caught driving on a suspended license and subsequently caught with dealer amounts of meth and fentanyl pills has been convicted on amended charges.

Jose Rosado pleaded no contest last week to charges of: Possession with Intent to Distribute both Meth and Fentanyl, No Drug Tax Stamp, and Use of Money to violate drug laws. In exchange for his plea, a more serious Meth Distribution charge that carried a mandatory minimum of five years in prison was reduced.

As terms of the plea, he will also have to forfeit the vehicle he was driving when he was arrested.

Rosado will learn how long his sentence will be when he’s back in court on November 18th.
