Dale Lee Hall, 89, of Broadwater, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard. Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. The Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 8th with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 2 PM at All Souls Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Father CP Varghese officiating. The Service will be livestreamed on the Bridgeport Memorial Chapel facebook page. Inurnment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Broadwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Morrill County Hospital Foundation, the Broadwater Fire Department, or All Souls Catholic Church. Dale was born to Herman and Inez (Mitchell) Hall in Bridgeport on March 29, 1932. He graduated from Bridgeport High School. Dale was united in marriage to Jeanette Ardissono on September 15, 1954 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dalton. He farmed north of Bridgeport for one year, before moving to the farm south of Broadwater where he farmed until retiring in 2014.

His favorite pass-times were hunting, fishing, and “making sawdust.” He served on the Bridgeport Irrigation District Board and the Wheat Belt Public Power Board. He attended St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Broadwater and later All Souls Catholic Church in Bridgeport. He and his son, Mike, built corral panels in the 90’s.

Dale is survived by his wife Jeanette; daughter Shirley Bertram; daughter-in-law Dorothy Hall; and daughter Kathleen (Shane) Gruber; grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Mavin, Jason (Allie) Reitz, Robbie Hall, Beckie (John) Bilby, Paxton (Nicole) Gruber, and Sydney (Turner) Nansel; great-grandchildren: Lexi and Brea Mavin and Lily and Hazel Reitz; brothers Herman (Eva Jane) Hall and George (Jeanette) Hall; sisters Nancy (Harold) Clapp and Connie King; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, son Mike Hall, and son-in-law Rodney Bertram.
