The City of Scottsbluff and Twin Cities Baseball have entered into an official memorandum of understanding.
During last week’s council meeting, City Manager Kevin Spencer said that the organization is currently trying to apply to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for a Shovel Ready Grant.
He says they need to have this type of document signed and in place to prove that there is capital interest.
Steve Dunkel with Twin Cities Baseball explained to the council what they’re hoping to do with this grant, and the council unanimously voted to enter the agreement with Twin Cities Baseball.
