Suspect Arrested in Dobby’s Frontier Town Burglary

Alliance Police say a 31-year-old man is in custody for a break-in at Dobby’s Frontier Town earlier this week.

According to a release from Chief Phil Lukens, officers were called to the attraction at 3:15 Wednesday afternoon regarding a burglary in which $500-$1,500 worth of items were stolen from the buildings.

Lukens says a search warrant for two properties in Alliance was executed Friday morning and a majority of the stolen items were recovered.

Christopher Heater was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Box Butte County Jail with pending charges of 11 counts of Burglary and Theft by receiving charges.  

Lukens said the community’s help coupled with technology was instrumental in solving the burglaries, and he’s proud of the cooperation that helped resolve the issue quickly.
