The softball regular season ended on Tuesday night for both Scottsbluff and Gering with both teams picking up comfortable home wins.
Gering rolls to 19th win
The Bulldogs hosted Alliance and won it going away in three innings by the final of 16-3. The Bulldogs got home runs from Rylee Luce and Danae Savala and it was Savala earning the win in the circle allowing three runs and striking out six.
Scottsbluff wins at home over Chadron
The Bearcats closed out the regular season with a 9-1 win over Chadron as they improved to 19-9. The Bearcats got a 3 RBI game from Kay Michaelson while Hannah Schneider worked five innings in the circle allowing just two hits, no runs, and she struck out six.
The Subdistrict Tournament looks like it’ll be held Monday in McCook with the top seed Bison playing Alliance and Scottsbluff matching up with Gering in the first round.
