Four of the challengers in the race for three seats up for grabs in the Scottsbluff City Council race will join two of the incumbents on the November ballot.

Mayor Jeanne McKerrigan and Council member Nathan Green advanced during the primary contest Tuesday night, and will be joined by Eugene Batt, Betsy Vidlak, Chris Miller and Matt Salomon.

Selina Lerma, the newest sitting member on the council, fell 34 votes shy of making the slate of candidates that will be running in the general election.
