Cyber Attack at EWC Still Hampering Operations

Operations at Eastern Wyoming College are still hampered by the cyber-attack which struck the college early Tuesday morning, June 22. Officials continue to investigate the issue and are working diligently to restore service. The college’s computers, email and phone system are still down as of Wednesday afternoon. There is currently no estimate as to when the services will be restored.

Those trying to contact the college may do so as follows:

·        Visit in person at 3200 West C Street in Torrington or 800 S Wind River Drive in Douglas

·        Leave a message in the college’s general voicemail box at 307.532.8200. Messages retrieved from this voice mail box are forwarded to the appropriate individuals

·        Currently enrolled summer students who have not connected directly with the faculty member or members for their courses should call Mr. Roger Humphrey, Vice President for Academic Services at 307.575.1387

·        New or prospective students or students wishing to apply to EWC should call Zach Smith, Director of Enrollment Management at 307.575.5235
