Old West Balloon Fest 2024

The opening night glow will be held on Thursday, August 8th at WNCC in Scottsbluff from 6-9p.m. Gates will open at 5:30p.m.

There will be mass ascensions at the Mitchell Airfield on Friday, August 9th & Saturday, August 10th at sunrise. Gates will open at 5:30a.m. There will be food vendors, drinks and other activities as well.

Other Saturday events in Mitchell will include a craft fair on Center Avenue from 7:30a.m.-2:30p.m., a cornhole tournament at Redz Bar & Grill at 10a.m. and wiener dog races at Kiwanis Park at 11a.m.

The closing night glow and drone show will be held at the Mitchell Airfield on Saturday evening. The glow will start at sunset and the drone show will start at 9p.m. Gates will open at 5:30p.m.
