The United Way of Western Nebraska’s 6th annual Radiothon is in the books, with thousands of dollars being raised to help with funding for the 27 Panhandle based non-profits that the United Way serves.
Executive Director Karen Benzel says all the money raised will stay local to the donor’s respective communities. She adds that this is the first year where nearly every radio station in the Panhandle joined forces to help spread the United Way’s message.
When all was said and done, $7,015.36 was raised during the 2023 United Way Radiothon
