Torrington Man Sentenced to Federal Prison

The acting US Attorney for the District of Wyoming says a Torrington man was recently sentenced on federal weapons and drug charges.

According to a release from Nicholas Vassallo, US District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced 38-year-old Jonathan Queen for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Queen received 87 months’ in federal prison with four years of supervised release, and a $200 special assessment.

This crime was investigated by Gillette Police, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
