Scottsbluff Firefighters kept busy battling a trailer fire at the Blue Bird Trailer Court Park near East 12th Street.

Around 7:30 p.m. Monday, crews responded for a fully involved trailer fire with heavy smoke visible upon arrival. Shortly after, two adjacent trailers became affected by the flames as the fire grew.

Fire Chief Tom Schingle says the majority of the fire was knocked down in about ten minutes with assistance from Gering Fire Department. Schingle says the preliminary cause of the fire appears to be smoking materials accelerated by oxygen.

The two occupants of the trailer were treated and transported by Valley Ambulance for minor injuries.
