A Scottsbluff man who was caught with a sizeable amount of suspected meth and a handgun in Kimball County has had his case bound over to District Court.
Last month, 38-year-old William Zitterkopf II pulled over while driving on Highway 30. A trooper arrived on scene for a motorist assist, and asked Zitterkopf if he had any weapons on him.
Zitterkopf advised he did have a handgun on him, and subsequently more than 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located on his person.
He’s now facing a Class 1D Felony Charge of Possession of Meth (10 to 27 grams) and Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Felony.
A tentative April 4th Arraignment date has been set for the two felonies in Kimball County District Court.
