A new provider will be hauling Scottsbluff resident’s recycling to Denver.
During last week’s Scottsbluff City Council meeting, “U and U Trucking, LLC” was awarded the contract to haul for the City after the previous carrier declined to pick up the option to continue.
Public Works Director Mark Bohl says this contract is higher than last year’s, but cited higher diesel costs. Since the contract is only for one year, he hopes that next year they’ll be able to secure a less expensive contract.
