The Riverside Discovery Center has some new additions to their animal lineup this late spring.
One of them, a male zebra, was brought in with a specific goal according to RDC Director Anthony Mason. “
Other new additions include an American Badger orphaned at a very young age and currently living in the primate house, as well as a Great Horned Owl that suffered rib and eye injuries, likely by a vehicle, and can’t be released back into the wild.
Mason also says the RDC has a new concession stand for patrons, and this Saturday, there’s a Splash Pad Party for the kids. The ‘Rowdy Reptile Show’ also returns after more than a year hiatus, taking place Wednesdays and weekends.
