The Governors of both Nebraska and Wyoming are blasting the Biden Administration’s use of OSHA to force COVID vaccinations among those who have not taken the shot.
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon Thursday announced that Wyoming, along with several other states, will sue the Biden Administration Friday over unconstitutional vaccine mandates being imposed on employers with more than 100 employees.
The release from Gordon’s office says that step will happen as soon as the emergency temporary standard is issued by the federal Occupational Health and Safety Administration, which is slated for Friday as well, as the federal standard would impact numerous Wyoming businesses.
In his statement, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts called the mandate a draconian abuse of federal power, saying “If this rule is allowed to take effect, many Nebraskans will be at risk of losing their jobs over something that should remain a personal health choice.”
Ricketts says he’s been in communication with Nebraska’s Attorney General, who will be taking the lead on Nebraska’s legal review of the potentially illegal federal vaccine mandate, and state leadership will fight back.
