Endangered Missing Advisory for Scottsbluff Man cancelled

UPDATE: According to a release from the Scottsbluff Police Department, the alert for Gary Premus was terminated shortly before 1:00 p.m. Thursday, and the investigation has been turned over to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol.

A Facebook post by the State Patrol said Mr. Premus was deceased when he was located

An Endangered Missing Advisory has been activated to determine the whereabouts of Gary Premus.

Gary Premus was last seen at 5:25 p.m. at 320 West 42nd Street in Scottsbluff.

Gary is an 84 years old white male, 5’9, 290lbs, possibly driving a beige 1997 Buick Park Avenue, with Nebraska plate 21-P624. Gary is heavily reliant on oxygen and becomes disoriented when not on oxygen.

He may be traveling to Fort Pierre, SD where he has other family. Gary’s phone has been shut off. Contact Scottsbluff Police Department at 308-632-7176 with any information about Gary Premus’ location.
