April 7th, 2021 | Ryan Murphy

A Crawford couple will not stand trial after getting caught with more than four ounces of suspected methamphetamine following their arrest last summer.

In July, Scottsbluff Police made contact with Shana and Jeffrey Guest, and during a search of their vehicle found more than 140 grams of methamphetamine.

Last month in District Court, the duo signed a plea agreement to avoid going to trial.

Under the terms of the agreement Shana will plead no contest to a Class 2 Felony of Possession with Intent to Distribute and a 1D Felony of Felony in Possession of a Firearm stemming from a subsequent arrest.

Additionally Jeffrey Guest will plead no contest to two counts of Possession of Methamphetamine.

Shana faces up to 50 years on each count and Jeffrey up to 2 years on each count when they’re sentenced on June 9th.
