On Thursday district track meets continued with Mitchell hosting the C-9 meet and Leyton was the host for the D-9 gathering.
In Class C it was all Chase County as the Longhorns lapped the field basically in the girls and boys team standings. The Chase County girls won with 186 points, outscoring second place Bayard by over 100 points while their boys team put up 146 points, to win by 41 points over Gordon-Rushville.

In the D-9 meet you had Leyton capturing a boys district title with 126 points with Potter-Dix second and in the girls team standings it was Crawford the district champs with 110 points and Leyton was second.
