A Morrill County Man has been sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison after a jury convicted him on a charge of 1st Degree Sexual Assault.
32-year-old Nicholas Garcia learned his fate Tuesday in District Court as the sentence was handed down by District Judge Andrea Miller.
Court documents say Garcia sexually assaulted a victim after they passed out at his apartment during the summer of 2019.
The jury found Garcia guilty following a two day trial in February. As terms of the sentencing, Garcia will also have to register as a sex offender.
