We had action last night on the RRN-Scottsbluff as the Gering girls and boys picked up Senior Night home wins over the Bayard Tigers as they got an early jump on their hoops weekend.
The girls game final was Gering winning 61-56. Carleigh Pszanka finished with 19 points for the Bulldogs as they improved to 8-7 on the season. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Bayard as they dropped to 13-4.
In the boys game it was all Gering; the Bulldogs dominate the Tigers 67-31 as Tyler Garrett topped the Bulldogs with 12 points. The Bulldogs have now won three of their last four games to improve to 6-8 while Bayard dipped to 11-6.
