Police were called to the Rebecca Winters Apartments in southeastern Scottsbluff Tuesday afternoon on a report of a stabbing.
In a news release, authorities say after the initial call shortly before 3:30 p.m., officers arrived in the 900 block of 15th Avenue to find a 29-year-old woman had sustained a laceration to her right arm.
Valley Ambulance and Scottsbluff Fire attended to the victim, and a thirteen-year-old suspect was taken into custody nearby without further incident.
