Neola Cora Reisig, 81, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at The Residency Care Center in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Garry Schick officiating. Interment will follow at Mitchell City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff. Neola was born on October 31, 1942, in Martin, South Dakota to Robert John and Mollie (Robertus) Coleman. The family moved to Mitchell when she was 6 months old and later attended Mitchell schools, graduating from Mitchell High School in 1960.

Neola married Ronald Reisig on August 6, 1961, at Zion Evangelical Church in Scottsbluff. She worked as a housewife and the bookkeeper for Ron’s Truck and Equipment in Mitchell until their retirement in 1991.

Neola enjoyed sewing, thread crocheting, gardening, flowers, canning and cooking. She was a twirler in high school and belonged to a bowling league for several years.

Survivors include children, Rhonda Reisig of Scottsbluff, Tara Lienemann of Omaha and Ron Jr. (Nichole) Reisig of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; one step-grandchild; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Rod) Schildt of Scottsbluff; brothers-in-law, Russell (Gaylene) Reisig of Morrill and Richard (Susan) Reisig of Scottsbluff; along with numerous other extended family members and friends.

Neola was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; parents; daughter, Sheila Johnson; brothers, Robert, Russell, Jerry, Richard Coleman; sisters, Karen Coleman and Delores Stirrett; nephew, Troy Stirrett and niece, Renee Smith.
