Living Well Workshop coming to Scottsbluff
Panhandle Public Health District, Scotts Bluff County Health Department and Regional West Community Health are pleased to announce that the in-person Living Well workshop will begin Monday, September 26 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. The workshop will meet for 6 weeks through October 31 at Westway Church, 1701 W 27th Street in Scottsbluff. Living Well is an evidence-based chronic disease self-management workshop for those affected by chronic conditions and those who care for them. Living Well is powerful medicine for people who live with chronic conditions, a prescription that is proven to work. Studies show people who took the 6-week workshop experienced:
- More energy & improved social interactions
- Feelings of improved health
- Less time in the hospital and fewer hospitalizations
- More confidence
- A more engaged and healthier lifestyle
The workshops are interactive. Participants will learn to solve problems together and create action plans to practice new skills.
