County officials are reminding the public that the repair project to the northbound span of the Broadway – 10th Street river bridge between Gering and Scottsbluff gets underway Monday starting at 7 a.m.
Traffic control will include a soft closure at Country Club Road, however, all businesses between that intersection with 10th Street and the bridge will accessible.
A hard close northbound takes place at the Matheson/Linweld intersection, and those needing to get to Nemnich Auto will need to use Twin City Drive and then the frontage road on the east side.
Detour routes for northbound traffic needing to cross the river will be from Country Club Road to either the Five Rocks Road or 21st Avenue bridges.
The closure is expected to last four to five weeks, and the southbound span of the Broadway – 10th Street bridge will remain open during construction.
