Here’s a brief look at a few of the events at the high school level from yesterday as the Gering soccer teams played North Platte and Gering traveled to McCook for boys golf.
McCook Golf Invite
Gering finished 4th in the team standings with a combined score of 360 with Jack Maser their top scorer on the day with a round of 85, which was good for 14th place.
Other Gering scores on the day: Rece Knight (89), Mitch Culek (90), Kelan Dunn (96), and Espn Marez (98).
York won the event with a score of 307 and they had four finishers in the top 10 led by meet medalist Jaxson Hinze, who posted a winning score of 72.
