Pioneers end season with loss in Colorado
July 25th, 2024 | Chris Cottrell

The Western Nebraska Pioneers closed out their summer campaign on Tuesday night, falling on the road to the Colorado Roughriders, 14-4, at Regis University in Denver.

After a 13 game winning streak the Pioneers finished the season with three straight losses and they’ll miss the Rocky Mountain League playoffs.

The final tally this year for the Pios is a record of 29-18 that included that long winning streak plus the team with the milestone 250th all-time win in franchise history!

Jeffrey Nelson did great work all season handling the broadcasts for us on KNEB AM 960/100.3 FM and here’s that final game with Jeffrey from last night.
