The City of Mitchell will once again have a grocery store to call their own.
Back in October, it was announced that Fresh Foods would be opening in the former Mitchell Market building, which had been closed since 2016.
Work is nearly complete, and store manager Jennifer Del Mastro says they will be hiring people during interviews for jobs this week. They will be hosting open interviews Thursday and Friday from noon until 4 p.m. at Mitchell City Hall.
Del Mastro says currently, the plan is for the store to officially open its doors on May 3rd.
