A Pennsylvania man caught with more than 300 pounds of marijuana last January during a Kimball County traffic stop has been sentenced.
In March, 21-year-old Noah Ropon pleaded no contest to charges of Attempted Distribution of a Controlled Substance and No Drug Tax Stamp.
This week, Ropon was sentenced to 1 day in jail, and a $5,000 fine, plus $3,200 in restitution for not having a drug tax stamp.
A September show cause hearing has been scheduled to ensure that all payments to the court have been made.
