One Panhandle student gets a huge scholarship to help offset costs as he heads off to college in the fall.
Hemingford Public Schools announced this week that recent grad Drew Varner was recently awarded the national Hagan Scholarship, which will cover up to $15,000 per year for the next four years.
Varner will be attending University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and plans to major in engineering.
