WESTCO falls at Post 6

The WESTCO Zephyrs went on the road to Powers Field in Cheyenne last night and got beat by legion power Post 6 by the final of 11-2.

Starting pitcher Carter Reisig battled what’s an always great top to bottom lineup for Post 6. Reisig went five innings and struck out eight and only allowed three earned runs (five total). Head coach Dallas Liptac said, “Yeah, he was really good.”

Reisig also had a three hit night at the plate with a triple and double included with one driven in while Jahrell Mendez kept adding to his hit total with two more.

The Zephyrs are now 4-3 and they’ll be in Gillette WY for games Friday through Monday.
