Donations Needed for Firefighter Ministry Following Multiple Responses Over Two weeks
July 28th, 2021 | Scott Miller

Five responses in just a couple of weeks have impacted Firefighter Ministry, which is in need of donations to help those who’ve suffered a loss due to fire or other tragic events.

Carissa Schank tells KNEB News there are multiple ways you can help, as no one is ever fully prepared to confront such incidents.

They go in spurts, so obviously, you never know when it’s going to happen,” says Schank. “It’s a great need, so we always need people to make monetary donations, and of course, we have things that randomly come up that we need donated. Things like deodorant, razors, things like that that we run out of just randomly.

Of the five incidents the organization has responded to, four have been residential fires, and a fifth involved a traffic accident that left those involved needing a place to stay.

Monetary donations can be dropped in the mail to Firefighter Ministry at PO Box 531, Scottsbluff… and you can reach out to Carissa directly to help with other needs by calling 308-631-9674.
