“What’s in a Picture?” Program with Robert Zemanek at Gering Public Library
The Gering Public Library is hosting Robert Zemanek, president of the Albany County, Wyoming Genealogical Society, on Wednesday, February 28th at 6:30p.m. Zemanek will be presenting his popular program, “What’s in a Picture?”.
Zemanek will discuss how to examine old photos closely to discover clues about the date of the picture as well as things like why the photo was taken. Please bring a photograph or two that you would like to learn more about.
Zemanek is also interested in developing a genealogical society in our area. If you would like to be part of a genealogical society but can’t attend “What’s in a Picture?”, please leave your contact information at the library.
