Jeremy Jacobs Cancer Benefit

The benefit will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 4-9p.m. at the Gering American Legion Post #36 at 1425 9th Street.

The meal will be served at 5p.m. Each meal will come with a raffle ticket. To go options will be available. There will also be games and a live and silent auction. Cost for adults is $10, kids age 4-11 are $5 and kids 3 and under are free.

Jeremy, a 44 year old father of four and navy veteran, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in November of 2022. Jeremy has undergone many different treatments leaving him unable to work. All proceeds will help aid in the cost of treatments, travel expenses and lost income for the family.

Donations of feed/hay to the family for their livestock and pets will also be accepted. Cash or check donations can also be made to the “Jacobs Family Benefit” at Platte Valley Bank.
