The Scottsbluff Police Department has been awarded a speed enforcement grant funded by the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
Sergeant Philip Eckerberg says this grant is for speed enforcement on Broadway and 27th Street every Friday and Saturday starting on June 9th and ending August 5th.
This grant will allow for two extra officers to patrol Broadway and 27th Street for speed and any other traffic violations every day of the grant.
